Industry Veteran Brings Deep Tech Marketing Background from Mercury, HP Software
SAN FRANCISCO – February 7, 2017 – Kentik, the leader in network traffic intelligence for performance management and DDoS protection, today announced the hiring of Mark Sarbiewski as Chief Marketing Officer as part of the company’s broader effort to build on accelerating market adoption and sales momentum.
Sarbiewski joins Kentik from Castlight Health, where he served as CMO for the publicly-traded healthcare management software provider. Prior to that, Sarbiewski held CMO roles at Anaplan and Clustrix, along with senior product and marketing roles at Mercury Interactive and HP Software.
“We are excited to add an experienced marketing leader like Mark to our deep bench of talent as we pursue an aggressive growth strategy for Kentik in 2017,” said Avi Freedman, CEO of Kentik. “We are also extremely proud of our results in 2016, which reflect the rapidly growing demand for deep network visibility and DDoS protection delivered with the ease and cost-efficiency of SaaS.”
“It is an exciting time to join Kentik. Networks are more critical and complex than ever, and customers are seeing enormous value in how Kentik turns their network traffic – billions of digital footprints – into actionable intelligence.” said Sarbiewski. “It goes well beyond just solving performance problems and DDoS attacks; Kentik turns the network into a distinct business advantage.”
