Network intelligence means being able to understand what's happening in my network and not just seeing metrics on dashboards. Now metrics are very important, of course, but only in the context of what we care about, the services that we're trying to deliver with the network, usually an application. So I'm in the Kentik NMS looking at one of my data centers where we're running some AI workloads. Now this could be a data center that runs any kind of workload, but I like showing off NMS in this way because it's a great way to see how metrics and applications and data enrichment all work together. So here you can see in the dashboard that I built for this environment that I really care about device metrics like CPU and memory utilization, as well as any kind of errors or packet drops or anything like that which I know in this kind of data center is going to have huge impacts on the performance of my workloads. And in an AI data center, that could be pre training activities or it could be inference, Or you can imagine in any high performance computing environment, a few packet discards could really increase latency, It could cause my workloads to stall or my applications to perform very poorly. So scrolling down here, you can see that I have a little spike in my CPU utilization this one specific device. So that's a concern, but it really isn't so bad that it fired off any alerts yet. So what I do see over here are a bunch of discards on a device that I'm monitoring, and that's not good. That's going to directly impact my workload performance, and, and I'm going to click on it here and drill down to get more details. Now Kentik NMS is part of the entire Kentik Network Intelligence Platform. That means not only do we have device metrics here, but I can click on the interface having the issues, see all the information as you can see here, but at the top, notice that I can pivot to traffic and start looking at the application traffic right on that link that's having problems. And that's really what we care about most, right? And as always, Kentik NMS empowers collaboration by making it very easy to share this single source of truth among teams So we can create a custom alert, we can share the dashboards, whatever your team needs to run your data center effectively. And in the end, the idea here is that with Kentik Network Intelligence, blind spots completely vanish. You gain visibility into metrics, also traffic, and everything else that you need to ensure critical workloads run smoothly and reliably.
