Kentik - Network Flow Analytics

Are you an experienced marketing leader with a deep interest in accelerating growth for a market-leading enterprise SaaS company? Do you execute brilliantly and dream about messaging and metrics? San Francisco-based network analytics company, Kentik is seeking a high-energy, dynamic VP of Marketing to complete our team. The team currently consists of talented senior professionals across Communications, Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Events and Product Marketing. We’re looking for a leader who will take us to the top of the hill as a world-class marketing organization. Our ideal candidate is both an extraordinary leader and hands-on marketer who will help us turn up the volume on messaging, drive by the numbers to improve effectiveness and team across the organization to take Kentik’s growth to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Create overall GTM strategy and set of deliverables to achieve the top-level marketing goals that meet Kentik’s aggressive growth targets
  • Establish, distill, and report the metrics that guide progress toward goals
  • Drive marketing and company strategic priorities with Kentik’s executive team and the board
  • Develop and manage frameworks that align marketing activities across the team
  • Build and inspire a strong, effective and respected marketing that is known for over delivering and teaming exceptionally well across the organization.
  • Contribute creatively to messaging, positioning, campaigns, content and collateral
  • Instill discipline and rigor into the go-to-market strategy and product rollout process.
  • Ensure the revenue team is fully enabled and trained.
  • Embrace an entrepreneurial mindset – focusing on speed and agility. Quick experimentation, fast implementation, and improvisation are highly valued
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry analysts; create awareness for the company among opinion leaders.
  • Partner closely with sales, product management, and engineering to create a strong and collaborative partnership that will ensure success in product roadmap, competitive positioning, market awareness and sales execution.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in a senior marketing role. The ideal candidate will have led marketing organizations at a high-growth, venture backed company and have prior experience as a member of the company’s senior leadership team.
  • Technically astute either through experience or education.
  • Hands-on experience across multiple marketing functions
  • Experience with B2B enterprise SaaS
  • BA / BS degree
  • Preferred: MBA
  • Preferred: Experience in networking, security, monitoring, and/or analytics
